Ducks in the pond

At first I thought the ducks swimming around and around in our 7 foot diameter pond were cute. But today they spent time with their back-ends in the air, searching for food on the bottom, and up-ended a couple of my eleocharis acicularis, tipping dirt everywhere. Now the water is muddy-brown, and I’m no longer water-fowl friendly. At least, not until they lay another egg on our lawn. Which is also very cute. I’m a sucker for ducks. And, I know, the page about the pond is pretty anal.
