Troy reminded me of Star Wars Episode One. There’s this fantastic cast up there, but for some reason they seem to have lost the ability to act. Is this what blue screens do?

Ducks in the pond

At first I thought the ducks swimming around and around in our 7 foot diameter pond were cute. But today they spent time with their back-ends in the air, searching for food on the bottom, and up-ended a couple of my eleocharis acicularis, tipping dirt everywhere. Now the water is muddy-brown, and I’m no longer water-fowl friendly. At least, not until they lay another egg on our lawn. Which is also very cute. I’m a sucker for ducks. And, I know, the page about the pond is pretty anal.
