It’s with great regret that we’re selling our Smart Car. Details here.
Smart (or really Mercedes) insist that you have to buy their special car seat to have a baby in the front. It has some sort of over-engineered “transponder” which automatically turns the airbags off on the passenger side. In the real world, all these baby seats come as a system that fit different buggies. And since we can’t find any details on the Smart seat (which buggies it fits) and since we’ve already bought our seat, the whole car has to go.
Really sad.
