It must have been a pain for the guys at Nearfield to draw all these little dotted circles, but it’s an effective way of highlighting the quantity of wi-fi devices of one sort or another around us.

What’s with the circle on the ground at around 0:19? I just saw a floor there.
Did they have some tool that detected WiFi devices, or what?

No idea. It’s possible that it’s something to do with the airport infrastructure (some kind of under floor sensor).
I think this is just a concept, done by hand, based on guessing who/what would be wi-fi.
